Using the Flood Risk Application Tools

Determining Flood Status

If you want to know if an area on the map is inside, outside of near the flood risk zone, you can find out by using the Determine Flood Status tool Determine Flood Status tool.

To Determine Flood Status

  1. In the left toolbar, click the Determine Flood Status button Determine Flood Status tool. The button changes to a white background to indicate it is the active tool.
  2. Click on the area of interest within the map window. Your Northing/Easting and location will display within the map window.

  3. Your flood risk results will display within the 'Flood Determination Results' window. Please follow the detailed instructions provided for your personalized result. Note: It is very important you step through all of the steps outlined within the  'Flood Determination Results' window.
